New Zealand citizen business travellers can fast-track their travel across participating Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) economies with the APEC Business Travel Card.

New Zealand citizens who travel for trade, investment or service delivery can apply for the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Business Travel Card now and make their next trip easier. 

About the travel card

This travel card is designed for New Zealand businesspeople who travel frequently across the APEC region.

The card is available to New Zealand citizens with a valid passport and a genuine need for short-term business travel.

Application costs NZD $150 and includes pre-clearance from participating APEC countries. A virtual version of the card is issued, making it easier to manage and update.

Benefits of the card

Travelling with the APEC Business travel card helps save time, reduce admin, and keep businesses connected in a competitive region.

It lets cardholders enter participating APEC countries multiple times for short business visits without applying for a visa each time.

Cardholders also benefit from fast-track immigration lanes at major airports.
