An 18-year-old who’s lived his entire life in New Zealand is set to be deported, after a law change removed the right to citizenship by birth.
Navjot Singh knows he could now be removed at any time after his last-ditch plea to the Associate Immigration Minister was rejected. But his lawyer says the Government’s treatment is cruel, and he’ll physically try to block any deportation attempt.Steve Kilgallon reports.
