Immigration New Zealand (INZ) is proud to announce our participation in the Five Country Ministerial (FCM) “Fighting Visa Fraud” campaign, launching during International Fraud Awareness Week (16 to 22 November 2025).
Visa fraud is a growing global threat, with criminals using deception and scams to target visa applicants. This campaign brings together New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom in a coordinated effort to raise awareness and protect individuals from fraudulent activity.
INZ will be posting content and resources across our social media using the hashtag #FightingVisaFraud. The campaign encourages visa applicants to use official government websites, beware of fraudulent agents, and report suspicious activity to local authorities.
You can check our ‘Protecting yourself from immigration scams’ page for more information and resources on visa fraud prevention.
