We have identified an IT issue where letters for some visa application systems have not been uploading for applicants to see in their immigration online account since around 27 August 2024.
The visa applications systems affected are for:
- Student visas
- Group Visitor Visas
- Work visas (excluding the Accredited Employer Work Visa)
- Partner and child visas
- Straight to Residence Visa
- Work to Residence Visa
- Transport Work to Residence Visa
- Care Workforce Work to Residence Visa
We are urgently working to resolve this. Letters are being uploaded to our systems today. We apologise for the delay in uploading these letters and acknowledge the impact this will have.
If you had received a letter via email
Applicants may have already received a letter directly through email. In these instances, they will see the letter again once it gets uploaded and is available in their immigration online account.
If you have not received a letter
While letters are being uploaded to immigration online accounts, applicants can use our Visa Verification Service to check if they have been granted a visa.
About the Visa Verification Service
We may have sent a letter requesting further information, or inviting applicants to comment on a concern we have identified with their application, and provided a deadline for them to respond to them by.
If you do not receive this letter due to the IT issue, we will take this into account when considering your application and the deadline for responding.
For any other questions about your application, you can contact our Customer Service Centre.
